| the only way to go for and intel is a CORE 2 DUO. the pentium D may seem like a better value, higher clock speeds, dual core, but the core 2 duo is based a whole new architecture and is WAY or efficient and consumes way less power ansd way less heat. i just got a new rig (in sig) with a E4300. you can overclock it to a much higher clock speed. Plus, you get the cool Core 2 Duo case badge, which is way cooler than a pentium D case sticker!! ![]() E8400 DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL 4GB G.Skill 800MHz Sapphire Radeon HD3870 512MB Silverstone DA650W WD 250GB + Seagate 320GB |
