just my local computer store: PC Cyber - E6600
Don't have enough cash on hand to buy the E6600, which would require a new mobo, that mobo would require new DDR2 RAM...

Hopefully I can find a cheap $100 - Opteron s939 chip inside a discount bargain bin in the near future.

Or wait until I have some cash and/or AMD comes out with a new intel crushing chip. Cross your fingers.

I wonder if retail prices will fall. I wouldn't mind upgrading my FX55 to an X2 or an Opteron, but right now they're priced a little too high.

I think AMD is thinking smart. They are stealing business from Intel. they keep dropping their prices and now they have control of the low-end and mid-range market.
